Now with the M3 chip, the iPad Air empowers users to be productive and creative wherever they are, from aspiring creatives using large files in demanding apps, to travelers editing content on the go.

Featuring a more powerful 8-core CPU, the M3 is up to 35 percent faster for multithreaded CPU workflows than M1. M3 features a 9-core GPU with up to 40 percent faster graphics performance over M1.

Advanced Graphics

For the first time, M3 brings Apple's advanced graphics architecture to the iPad Air. Dynamic Caching only uses the exact amount of memory needed for each task, which dramatically increases the average utilization of the GPU, resulting in significant performance increases for the most demanding pro apps and games. With support for hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, M3 offers up to four times faster performance than M1, enabling more accurate lighting, reflections, shadows, and immersive gaming experiences.

13' Liquid Retina Touchscreen

The iPad Air has a 13' Liquid Retina Display with a 2732 x 2048 resolution and P3 wide color gamut coverage for vivid colors. It also has True Tone, 600 nits of brightness, and an anti-reflective coating for better viewing. True Tone optimizes the white balance of the display to best fit your ambient light, so it's easy on the eyes. The screen supports both the Apple Pencil Pro and the Apple Pencil (USB-C).

Ultra-Wide 12MP Landscape Front Camera & 12MP Rear Camera

Now located on the long side of the iPad Air, the Ultra-Wide 12MP front-facing camera creates an ideal video calling experience. With Center Stage, machine learning enables the camera to automatically adjust to keep everyone in the field of view.

The 12MP wide rear camera captures vivid photos and detailed 4K videos. And the large, high-resolution Liquid Retina display lets you retouch images, edit your film, and easily share them—all on iPad Air.
